The Haryana government has announced a significant administrative reshuffle, involving the transfer and appointment of 20 IAS officers along with one Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officer. This strategic move aims to strengthen governance and enhance departmental coordination across the state.
According to a government order released on Saturday, among the transferred IAS officials is Phool Chand Meena, the Commissioner of the Rohtak Division, who has been appointed as the Commissioner and Secretary of the Human Resources Department. He will take over from C.G. Rajni Kanthan.
Rajiv Ratan, the Director General of Science and Technology and Commissioner of the Karnal Division, has been assigned the additional role of Commissioner for the Rohtak Division, alongside his current responsibilities.
Key Appointments in Various Departments
Raja Shekhar Wundru, the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Fisheries Department, has been appointed as the ACS of the Transport Department, in addition to his existing duties, succeeding T.L. Satyaprakash.
G. Anupama, the ACS for Social Justice, Empowerment, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare, has been designated as the Additional Chief Secretary for the Department of Citizen Resource Information, alongside her current role.
Further Transfers and Appointments
Mandeep Kaur, the Deputy Commissioner of Fatehabad, has been appointed as the Director of the Human Resources Department and Special Secretary of the same department, replacing Vinay Pratap Singh.
Munish Sharma, the Deputy Commissioner of Charkhi Dadri, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Haryana School Education Board in Bhiwani.
Monika Gupta, the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula, has been transferred and appointed as the Administrator of the Haryana Urban Development Authority in Panchkula, as well as the Additional Director of Urban Property in Panchkula.
New Roles for HCS Officer
The order also states that Kapil Kumar, currently serving as the Deputy Secretary for Monitoring and Coordination and Special Officer (Sanitation) in Kurukshetra, has been transferred and appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Kaithal, in addition to his existing duties. He will succeed IAS officer Deepak Babulal Karwa.
